Reservations & Booking Confirmation
All reservations are subject to availability.
A booking is confirmed once:
- Full payment has been successfully processed
- A confirmation email has been sent to the guest
Your confirmation email will include:
- Accommodation details
- Check-in and check-out dates
- Number of guests
- Booking reference
- Camp contact details
- Directions to the camp
Guests are responsible for reviewing the confirmation details and notifying the camp immediately if any information is incorrect.
Payment Policy
All reservations require full payment at the time of booking. Payments are processed securely through:
Bank Muscat Secure Payment Gateway
For security reasons, the camp does not store credit card details. Prices displayed on the website do not include taxes unless otherwise stated.
The following taxes are added during checkout:
- VAT (5%)
- Tourism Tax (5%)
All prices are displayed in Omani Rial (OMR).
Check-In & Check-Out
To ensure smooth operations and guest comfort:
Check-in: 2:00 PM
Check-out: 11:00 AM
Early check-in or late check-out may be possible depending on availability. Guests arriving late are encouraged to notify the camp in advance.
Accommodation Capacity
The camp currently includes 3 accommodation units.
Maximum occupancy per unit:
- 2 guests + 1 extra bed
- Maximum 3 guests per unit
Extra beds are available upon request for an additional charge of 15 OMR per night
Children Policy
Children are welcome at Teepee Camps Jabal Shams.
Due to the mountain environment and canyon surroundings, children must always be supervised by adults.
Children requiring an extra bed will be charged the standard extra bed fee.
Camp Facilities
Guests are welcome to enjoy shared camp facilities including:
- Outdoor kitchen
- Shared dining table
- Fire pit seating areas
- Mountain viewpoints
Some facilities are shared among guests.
Bathroom arrangements:
- Canvas Tents: Shared bathroom
- Glass Dome: Private bathroom

- Avoid littering
- Respect quiet hours

Safety in the Mountain Environment
Teepee Camps Jabal Shams is located near canyon viewpoints and natural terrain.
Guests should:
- Wear appropriate outdoor footwear
- Follow safety guidelines
- Supervise children at all times
- Avoid restricted cliff areas
Guest Conduct
To maintain a peaceful environment:
The following are not permitted:
- Loud parties or disruptive behavior
- Smoking inside tents or domes
- Alcohol consumption within the camp
- Bringing pets to the camp
The camp reserves the right to refuse service or request guests to leave if behavior
threatens safety or disturbs other guests.
Camp Fire Safety
For safety reasons:
- Fires are only permitted in designated fire pit areas
- Guests may not start fires independently
- Firewood will be provided when appropriate
Damages
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to camp property during their stay. Repair or replacement costs may be charged accordingly.
Liability Limitation
Teepee Camps Jabal Shams is not responsible for:
- Loss or damage of personal belongings
- Accidents caused by failure to follow safety instructions
- Natural risks associated with outdoor mountain environments
Guests are encouraged to carry appropriate travel insurance.
